Crude oil traded higher overnight, extending a rally that's increased the front-month NYMEX West Texas Intermediate contract's price 1.4% over the past five trading sessions. Bullishness increased as the start of the day session, and the release of the U.S. Energy Department's weekly inventory report, approached this morning.
